Privacy

What this site does with data about you. It is a short page.

What we do not do

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. There are no accounts, and nothing you type here is sent to us — the search box filters a list your browser has already downloaded. Fonts and scripts are served from this site itself.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records requests to the site, which includes IP addresses, in the ordinary way any web server does. We use those records to keep the site running, not to build a profile of anyone.

Maps

A venue page draws a map only if you open it. When you do, your browser requests map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap, and OpenStreetMap sees your IP address as a result. If you never open a map, your browser never contacts them. The venue's address and a link to OpenStreetMap are on the page either way, so nothing is hidden behind the map.

Email

If you write to us, we hold your message and your address so we can reply. We do not add you to anything.

Who publishes this

This site is published under the name WhatWildlife and is reachable only at the address below. We do not publish an operating company or an individual's name.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to support@whatwildlife.com. Given the list above, the answer is usually that we hold nothing beyond whatever you sent us.
