Sikypark and its collection

Sikypark is a zoo in Crémines, Switzerland.

History

It started in 1972 as Siky Ranch, set up by the local businessman Siegfried Roos, and white tigers were once its signature attraction. The animal trainer Jerry Wegman ran it from 1996 to 2014, after which it was sold to the falconer Christoph Keller and Mélanie Keller. Big cats belonging to the trainer Rene Strickler were brought into the rebuilt site in 2018.

Animals and collection

Animals on show include Tiger, Löwen, Damhirsche, Luchse and Wölfe.

Exhibits

Its exhibits include Seniorenresidenz, Station Mami, Begehbare Papageienvoliere, Haustierranch and Forscherpfad.

Things to do

Things to do include Siky Express (park train), Pony riding, Bird-of-prey flight presentation, Pet meet-and-greet and Meerkat feeding.

• Please note that dogs and other pets are **not allowed** inside Sikypark because many of the rescued animals experience stress from them.
