Adventure Aquarium and its collection

Adventure Aquarium, opened in 1992, is an aquarium in Camden, United States.

A for-profit aquarium run by Herschend beside the Delaware River, it first opened in 1992 and reopened in its present form on 25 May 2005 with roughly 8,000 animals. The tanks hold more than two million US gallons of water, and the public floor space covers 200,000 square feet. Recyclable cutlery and plant-based straws are served under a scheme called Fins for the Future.

Exhibits

The older structure, renamed the South Building, holds small Atlantic tanks together with the large Ocean Tank at ground level. A rectangular addition on the north face became the North Building.
