ZOO Dvorec and its collection
ZOO Dvorec, opened in 2007, is a zoo in Borovany, Czech Republic.
The zoo is privately owned and is the southernmost in the country.
History
The environment ministry granted it formal zoo status in 2012. A storm that August caused a lightning fire in the back-of-house area and badly damaged the main building, though every animal was got out of the burning building alive. A Venomous terrarium pavilion, holding the widest European range of Naja cobra species, opened to the public in 2014.

Animals on show include Medvěd hnědý, Tamarím pinčí, Hroch obojživelný, Lev pustinný and Tygr indický.
