Zoo Linz and its collection
Zoo Linz is a zoo in Linz, Austria.
The zoo opened in 1980 under the theme "European animals, domestic animals and their wild forms". It keeps about 650 exotic and native animals of around 100 species on some 5.5 hectares, among them red pandas, ostriches, rheas, emus, coatis and meerkats. The site sits at the foot of the Pöstlingberg, with a view over the city.
Animals and collection
Animals on show include Erdmännchen, Zebras, Rote Pandas, Antilopen and Kängurus.
Exhibits
Its exhibits include Tropenhaus, Haus der Artenvielfalt and Haustierpark.
Things to do
Things to do include Petting area at the pygmy goats, Rabbit tunnel, Night safari and Zoo school.

- Der Linzer Zoo ist zum Großteil barrierefrei
- Von einem extra eingerichteten " Behinderten parkplatz " kommt man barrierefrei in den Zoo .
- Im Verwaltungsgebäude am Eingang befindet sich eine barrierefreie WC-Anlage und für Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkung steht ein kostenloser Rollstuhl zur Verfügung
- Zum Kiosk und zum Kinderspielplatz kommt man über eine Rampe
