Wildpark Gangelt and its collection

Wildpark Gangelt is a wildlife park in Gangelt, Germany.

The park occupies 50 hectares and holds brown bears, wild boar, wolves and other European wildlife. An on-site birds-of-prey station gives regular free-flight displays, and a bee house is run by local beekeepers.

Animals and collection

Animals on show include Wisent, Elch, Steinbock, Luchs and Wolf.

Exhibits

Its exhibits include Falknerei, Bienenhaus and Waldlehrpfad.

Things to do

Things to do include Flight demonstrations, Adventure playground and Petting zoo.

Conservation and approach

Species-protection and reintroduction schemes are run at the park, breeding threatened animals and preparing young for release. Lynx cubs raised there are released into the wild in Poland.
