Mondo Verde, Landgraaf is a zoo in Landgraaf.

The park is laid out on an old slag hill in the Strijthagerbeek valley, within Park Gravenrode.

History

The park opened in March 2002 on a partly excavated colliery spoil heap, the 70-metre heap having been cut down to 40 metres and terraced. It was created by the Belgian Jan Nonneman for Ger Van Ingen, then owner of the Arcen castle gardens.
