Tiergarten Falkenstein is a zoo in Falkenstein/Vogtl., Germany.

Animals and collection

Around 60 species from various countries of origin are kept, among them marmosets, snowy owls, lynx, coatis, prairie dogs, Egyptian fruit bats, porcupines, emus, llamas, Poitou donkeys and Bactrian camels. There is a kangaroo enclosure and a small tropical house dating from 1997, and the largest enclosure is the one for black bears.

• Located right on-site, the café serves freshly brewed coffee, ice cream, and fine cakes sourced from a local bakery (Konditorei Schrader), alongside a selection of light snacks.
• Dedicated parking directly at the zoo (Parkplatz am Tierpark) is very limited, primarily reserved for visitors with disabilities (about 5–8 spaces).
• The grounds feature well-paved, easily rolling paths with step-free access (or minimal thresholds under 3 cm and ramps).
• Passages and doors meet minimum width requirements (the tropical house door is 84 cm wide). A dedicated wheelchair-accessible restroom is available with ample turning space, a door width of 90 cm, and foldable grab bars.
