Meereszentrum Fehmarn and its collection
Meereszentrum Fehmarn is an aquarium in Fehmarn, Germany.
History
It was started in 1994 by a private owner and moved into a purpose-built building in 1997. An annex built in 2002/2003 doubled its capacity, and in the early 2000s it counted around 450,000 visitors a year.
Animals and collection
Animals on show include Korallen, Nemos, Seepferdchen, Feuerfische and Muränen.
Exhibits
Its exhibits include Ozeanaquarium, Rochentunnel, Mangroven- und Haiwelten, Unterwassertunnel and Lagunenaquarien.
