Eekholt Wildlife Park and its collection

Eekholt Wildlife Park, opened in 1970, is a zoo in Bimöhlen, Germany.

Over 700 animals of 100 Central European species are held across 67 hectares laid out naturalistically, on woodland and moor terrain crossed by the river Osterau and its meadows. The Schleswig-Holstein wolf information centre is based here. The park was founded in 1970 by Hans-Heinrich Hatlapa as a red deer research enclosure.

Animals and collection

Animals on show include Fischotter, Baummarder, Fuchs, Dachs and Steinmarder.

Exhibits

Its exhibits include Flugwiese, Vogelpflegestation and Eekholter Wolfsmeile.
