Zoo Eberswalde and its collection
Zoo Eberswalde, opened in 1958, is a zoo in Eberswalde, Germany.
History
A public animal garden opened in 1928 on a former amusement ground, showing native wildlife at first; an artificial waterfall was an early draw and non-German species followed. That predecessor was run by an excursion restaurant and was destroyed in the Second World War. The present zoo dates from a major rebuild of 1958, during the GDR period, which raised the number of animals held.

Animals on show include Löwen, Amurtiger, Affen, Wölfen and Pinguine.
Exhibits
Its exhibits include Löwenanlage and Baumwipfelpfad.
