Tierpark Recklinghausen and its collection
Tierpark Recklinghausen is a zoo in Recklinghausen, Germany.
Founded around 1930, like many Ruhr-area zoos, it once had a sizeable animal collection; the city assumed control in 1960 and the collection has been reduced since. The same municipal garden holds the Ruhrfestspielhaus and the Westphalian public observatory. Space constraints on the inner-city plot rule out proper keeping of large wild animals such as lions.

- Abgesehen davon ist unser Gelände komplett barrierefrei, sodass einer Tierpark-Tour im Rollstuhl nichts im Wege steht.
