Tierpark Gotha is a zoo in Gotha, Germany.

History

The park reckons 1926 as its founding year, when members of the Danio natural history society leased plots at the Kleiner Seeberg.

Animals and collection

Ten owl species are kept alongside beavers, wolves and wisent, while carnivores include Amur tigers, Chinese leopards, dingoes and northern lynx. South American animals form a major part of the collection, among them guinea pigs, capybaras, rheas, maras and collared peccaries.
