Tierpark Bad Liebenstein is a zoo in Bad Liebenstein, Germany.

History

Enclosures for fallow and red deer and an aviary existed in the Elisabethpark during the 1970s and 1980s, but were abandoned and left to decay after the collapse of East Germany. Horst Paukert, then head of the tourism association, drove the revival in the early 1990s. A use agreement for the present site was signed with the spa director in January 1996.

Animals on show include Flamingo, Krallenäffchen and Kookaburra.

Exhibits

Its exhibits include Terrarium, Flamingovoliere, Südamerikahaus and Waldhaus.
