St. Lucie County Aquarium

St. Lucie County Aquarium and its collection

St. Lucie County Aquarium is an aquarium in Fort Pierce, United States.

The site houses the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit, a working model of a coral reef holding 3,000 gallons, which was transferred here after being retired from the National Museum of Natural History in 2000. The other displays deal with the Indian River Lagoon and the coastal habitats around it.
