paraZOO — Zoo in Vlašim
paraZOO and its collection
paraZOO, opened in 2012, is a zoo in Vlašim, Czech Republic.
Opened in June 2012, it keeps native Czech fauna, among them otters, lynx, martens, eagle owls, ravens, storks and other birds of prey. The animals arrive by way of a rescue station and cannot be returned to the wild because of lasting injury. Their individual histories are used to explain how wildlife comes to be hurt and what people can do about it.

Animals on show include Liška obecná, Krkavec velký and Vydra říční.

Things to do include Guided tours of paraZOO and play elements, puzzles, quizzes, and a sandbox.

- Wheelchair accessibility can be somewhat challenging throughout certain parts of the grounds due to the nature of the rescue station terrain, and full access isn't available everywhere.
