Natur- und Tierpark Goldau and its collection
Natur- und Tierpark Goldau, opened in 1925, is a zoo in Goldau, Switzerland.
History
In 1806 rock masses fell from the Rossberg and buried the villages of Goldau and Röthen, killing 457 people. The slide left a broken landscape, and in the early 1920s it was decided to make a nature and animal park there. The park association was formed in 1925 and marked out ground for animals and for bird protection.

Animals on show include Sikahirsche, Mufflons and Wasservögel.
