Eifel-Zoo is a zoo in Lünebach, Germany.

Around 400 animals are kept on a 30-hectare site. The zoo lies in the Bierbach valley, west of the B 410 road.

History

The Cologne businessman Hans Wallpott (1927-2017) opened it in 1972 on a former fish farm he had bought in 1965. The stream flooded and damaged the grounds in 2002, and in 2007 an Asiatic black bear called Mike badly injured the owner's arm. A storm on 1 June 2018 put the lower part of the site under water from the Bierbach.
