Wildpark Rolandseck is a wildlife park in Remagen, Germany.

Native wild animals and some domestic breeds are kept in open enclosures and aviaries, at Am Kasselbach 4.

History

The landowning Freiherren von Lüdinghausen family decided in the late 1960s to create a public park for wild animals. It was laid out over two years with the forester Robert Küpper and forestry staff, covering about 350,000 square metres, and opened formally in October 1971.

Animals and collection

Animals on show include Rotwild, Damwild, Mufflon, Schwarzwild (Wildschwein) and Schottisches Hochlandrind.
