Sydney Aquarium & Sydney Wildlife World and its collection
Wild Life Sydney, opened in 2006, is a zoo in Sydney, Australia.
It opened in September 2006 beside a leisure and retail precinct that also holds the Sea Life aquarium and Madame Tussauds, and is laid out in ten themed zones.
History
Sydney Aquarium announced in May 2006 that it would extend its site into a wildlife park. Its operator became the Sydney Attractions Group after buying the Sydney Tower attractions and Manly Oceanarium, and Village Roadshow acquired that group in late 2007.
Animals and collection
Animals on show include Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombats, Platypus and Freshwater Crocodiles.
Exhibits
The zones include Devil's Den, Wallaby Cliffs, Daintree Rainforest, Kangaroo Walkabout, Platypus Pool and a rooftop koala area.
Things to do
Things to do include Breakfast With the Koalas and Keeper Talks.
