Shanghai Ocean Aquarium
Shanghai Ocean Aquarium and its collection
Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is an aquarium in People's Republic of China.
Advanced Aquarium Technologies drew up the design. A tunnel of 168 metres, among the longest anywhere, runs past a shark cove, a kelp cave, coral and coastal reefs and a stretch of open ocean. Exhibits are organised geographically, with zones for China, South America and Africa.
Animals and collection
Chinese species kept include alligator, sturgeon, giant salamander and water dragon. Humboldt and Magellanic penguins, leafy and weedy sea dragons and the Japanese giant spider crab are also held.

Its exhibits include 中国区, 南美洲区, 澳大利亚区, 非洲区 and 东南亚区.
Things to do
Things to do include Feeding time (interactive feeding sessions), Talk time (guided educational talks) and "Sleep with Sharks" overnight camp.
