Safari Borysew Zoo and its collection
Safari Borysew Zoo is a zoo in Poddębice, Poland.
It received formal zoological garden status in 2011 and covers 25 hectares.
History
Founded in August 2008 on 15 hectares showing 30 wild species, it saw Poland's first Poitou donkey born there in that first year. White Bengal tigers were brought in during 2009, and later acquisitions included white lions in 2011, reticulated giraffes, servals and pumas.
Animals and collection
Animals on show include Emu, Zebra Chapmana, Wielkomysz filipińska, Wielbłąd Jednogarbny and Pies Dingo.
Exhibits
Its exhibits include Egzotarium, Mini ZOO and Świat wodny.
Things to do
Things to do include Zoo train, ZOOlandia playground, Indoor soft-play area (Figlarnia), 7D cinema and Feeding shows.
