Pairi Daiza — Zoo in Brugelette
Pairi Daiza and its collection
Pairi Daiza, opened in 1969, is a zoo in Brugelette, Belgium.
More than 7,000 animals of 800 species are kept across 80 hectares, laid out in themed zones called Worlds. It is one of eight parks in Europe showing giant pandas, and full EAZA membership underpins its ex-situ work through European endangered species breeding programmes.
Animals and collection
Animals on show include jaguars, tapirs, lamantins, Aras de Spix and suricates.

Its exhibits include Edenya, Cambron-sur-Mer, Le Royaume du Milieu, La Dernière Frontière and La Terre du Froid.
Things to do
Things to do include Le Bain des éléphants, Gradins de Ganesha and train à vapeur.

- Pairi Daiza dispose de vastes parkings payants au prix de 13 €.
- The park offers dedicated routes specifically tailored for wheelchair users, visitors using electric mobility scooters, and individuals accompanied by assistance dogs.
- Wheelchairs can be requested in advance via their reception office.
- While most of the expansive grounds and restaurants are fully accessible, a few select historical or elevated spots—such as the Crypt, the hanging bridges, the giraffe lookout, the Cabinet of Dr. Yu, and the Craftsman's House—have limited access or require stairs.
