La Vallée des Singes and its collection
La Vallée des Singes is a zoo in Romagne, France.
The Dutchman Wim Mager founded it in 1998, 27 years after starting Apenheul. Primates live on planted islands with paths running among them, and roughly 30 species are shown, from the pygmy marmoset up to the gorilla, along with mandrill, lemurs, chimpanzee, colobus, squirrel monkey, titi, woolly monkey and spider monkey.

Animals on show include Saïmiri, Gorille, Mandrill, Bonobo and Tamarin lion doré.

Things to do include Les Nourrissages and Animalier d’un Jour.
Conservation and approach
It coordinates the EEP for red-faced spider monkeys, listed as vulnerable by the IUCN, as well as programmes for white-fronted capuchins and Peruvian black-headed squirrel monkeys. Field conservation support runs through the Conservatoire pour la Protection des Primates, which passes on roughly €100,000 a year and backs schemes such as Proyecto Mono Tocon for the San Martin titi monkey in Peru.

- Free parking is provided on-site for visitors arriving by car or coach.
- The park features shaded forest paths that are generally accessible to pushchairs and visitors with reduced mobility, allowing guests to navigate the walking trails and view the open enclosures.
