Howletts Wild Animal Park, opened in 1975, is a zoo in Canterbury, United Kingdom.

The house on the estate was under restoration in 1962, and the animal collection admitted the public from 1975. A second estate at Port Lympne, near Hythe, was bought in 1973 and opened as a zoo in 1976.

Animals and collection

The park keeps some of the largest western lowland gorilla family groups anywhere. It also holds the country's largest breeding herd of African elephants and a major lion-tailed macaque breeding group.
