Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park, opened in 1970, is a zoo in Blairdrummond, United Kingdom.

More than 300 animals are kept across a 120-acre estate, many of them free-roaming. The season runs from mid-March to the end of December, and tickets are sold online only rather than at the gate.

History

The mansion on the site dates to 1715, and in 1916 the Glasgow tea merchant Sir John Kay bought the house and its land; the estate then passed to his nephew Sir John Muir, grandfather of the current owner, Jamie Muir. The park opened to visitors on 15 May 1970, and the house itself was sold in 1977 to the Camphill Movement, a special-needs charity.

Animals on show include lions, rhinos and giraffes.

Things to do include Safari Drive-Thru, Bird Of Prey Flying Display, Adventure Playground & Rides, Sea Lion Demonstrations and Animal Talks.
