Aspuddsparken

Aspuddsparken and its collection

Aspuddsparken is a zoo in Stockholm, Sweden.

The site stands on Blommensbergsvägen in the Hägersten-Älvsjö district and ranks among the largest staffed play parks with animals in the city.

History

Supervised play activity began in 1949, and the park building of 1969 turned the site into a year-round operation. Animals were brought in at the start of the 1980s. Operations went out to public tender in 2000, and the firm Djur & Kul AB was formed to take them over on contract.
