CENTRO DE CONSERVACIÓN ZOO CÓRDOBA and its collection
CENTRO DE CONSERVACIÓN ZOO CÓRDOBA is a zoo in Córdoba, Spain.
The zoo occupies the southern part of Cruz Conde park, facing the royal botanical garden across the avenida de Linneo.
History
Visitors were admitted from 1967, with the formal inauguration held on 15 May 1968 to coincide with the city hosting the first congress of the Iberian union of zoos and aquariums. It began with 150 species over 8,000 square metres.
Animals and collection
The African section holds aoudad, ostrich, zebra, hippopotamus, lion, mandrill and wildebeest. Asian species include elephant, white-cheeked gibbon, Indian muntjac and Bengal tiger.

Its exhibits include FAUNA AFRICANA, FAUNA AMERICANA, FAUNA ASIÁTICA, FAUNA AUSTRALIANA and FAUNA AUTÓCTONA.
