Saint Louis Zoo and its collection

Saint Louis Zoo, opened in 1904, is a zoo in St. Louis, United States.

Entry costs nothing, being paid for by the Metropolitan Zoological Park and Museum District tax, though certain attractions carry a charge. Among them is the Emerson Zooline Railroad, which runs on 2 ft gauge track behind Chance Rides locomotives.

There are multiple full-service restaurants, casual cafes (such as Lakeside Cafe and Cafe Kudu), and numerous snack stands scattered throughout the park offering everything from burgers and pizza to kid-friendly treats and seasonal beverages.
Official paid parking is available in the zoo's dedicated North and South lots (located off Government Drive and Wells Drive/Tamm Avenue).
