Sea Life İstanbul and its collection
Sea Life İstanbul, opened in 2009, is an aquarium in Bayrampaşa, Turkey.
In service since October 2009 and previously named Turkuazoo, it spans 8,000 square metres and has an 80-metre underwater glass viewing tunnel, ranking it among the largest aquariums in the world. More than 10,000 marine creatures are shown at a 270-degree viewing angle, among them sharks, rays, octopuses and sea turtles. Hire spaces are used for shark dives and photographs, weddings, meetings, birthday parties and guided children's programmes.
