Safari de Peaugres and its collection
Safari de Peaugres, opened in 1974, is a zoo in Peaugres, France.
Opened in 1974 by Paul de La Panouse, the park stretches across 80 hectares and holds roughly 1,000 animals of 127 species. It is owned by Groupe Thoiry Participations, whose capital is split between Ekkio Capital, the La Panouse family and three other investment funds. The same owner holds Thoiry, Zoo Santo Inacio in Portugal and the château du Colombier.

Animals on show include Guépardeaux, addax, hyènes and pandas roux.

Conservation and approach
The park runs European endangered species programmes aimed at maintaining numbers and enabling releases. It is a member of the CEPA species and populations conservation body.
