Espace zoologique de Saint-Martin-la-Plaine and its collection
Espace zoologique de Saint-Martin-la-Plaine is a zoo in Saint-Martin-la-Plaine, France.
Opened in 1972 by Pierre and Éliane Thivillon, who still own it, it was the first zoo and refuge to take in seized or abandoned animals. Its earliest gorillas came from private hands and rescues. Western lowland gorillas and chimpanzees serve as the site's emblem animals.

Animals on show include gorille des plaines de l'Ouest, chimpanzés, drills, ouistitis and mangabeys.

Things to do include Soigneur d'un Jour, Repas des animaux and Jeux pour enfants.
Conservation and approach
It backs the primate conservation groups JACK, Kalaweit and ATO, as well as Free The Bears. Accreditation by the French zoo association ties it to a pooled fund that gave over 100,000 euros to 20 projects in 2019, after 70,000 euros across 17 projects in 2017, 63,000 in 2016 and 59,000 in 2015.

- Outdoor shaded picnic areas are provided for visitors bringing their own food. Additionally, an open-air fast-food snack bar operates seasonally from early April through late October.
- Parking is available directly at the park entrance for visitors arriving by car or camper, with dedicated motorhome facilities situated conveniently nearby.
- The park is designed for pedestrian visits along its trail network, with infrastructure accommodating guests with reduced mobility, though visitors should note the natural hilly terrain typical of the region.
