L'Oceanogràfic, opened in 2003, is an aquarium in Valencia, Spain.

Animals and collection

Over 35,000 individual animals of about 780 species are kept, among them dolphins, belugas, sea lions, seals, penguins, turtles, sharks, rays, jellyfish and spider crabs, as well as reptiles and wetland birds such as those of the Albufera and of tropical mangroves. The installations represent the Mediterranean, wetlands, temperate and tropical seas, oceans, the Antarctic, the Arctic, islands and the Red Sea, with a dolphinarium of 24 million litres reaching 10.5 m deep.

• Submarine Restaurant (Restaurante Submarino): The park's flagship dining venue, located at the centre of the complex. Guests dine on high-end Mediterranean cuisine surrounded by a circular, floor-to-ceiling aquarium wall.
• Official Underground Parking: L'Oceanogràfic has its own dedicated subterranean car park with over 800 spaces. The standard rate is roughly €2.30 per hour, but visitors can get a flat daily parking rate of €7.00 by validating their car park ticket at the aquarium shop when purchasing general admission.
• The vast majority of the paths, tunnels, and pavilions are fully step-free and wheelchair accessible.
• Wheelchairs are available for loan at the main entrance desk upon leaving a refundable deposit.
