Havets hus — Aquarium in Lysekil Municipality
Havets hus and its collection
Havets hus is an aquarium in Lysekil, Sweden.
Opened in 1993 to show the animals of the Gullmarn fjord and the surrounding western sea, it displays over 200 species in roughly 40 tanks. The route runs from the shoreline through successive marine zones down to deep seabed habitats. The largest tank is a tunnel holding 140,000 litres of salt water; water is drawn continuously from the fjord at a depth of 32 metres.
Animals and collection
Animals on show include Småfläckig rödhaj, Blågyltan, Hummern, Bläckfisken and Havsålen.

Its exhibits include Mjuka bottnar, Hårda bottnar, Det fria vattnet, Västerhavet and Gullmarsfjorden.

Things to do include Adventure golf, Seal safari, Night walk in the aquarium and Beach school.
