Zoológico Guadalajara and its collection

Zoologico Guadalajara, opened in 1987, is a zoo in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The zoo is counted among the country's leading zoos and is the biggest by area and by species count. It began operating on 11 March 1988, inaugurated by President Miguel de la Madrid alongside the state governor.

Animals and collection

Animals on show include pingüino Adelie, Gentoo, jirafas, venados and lories.

On-site general parking is available for visitors arriving by car, with a standard fee of around $110 MXN.
