Acuario Michin Guadalajara

Acuario Michin Guadalajara and its collection

Acuario Michin Guadalajara is an aquarium in Guadalajara, Mexico.

History

The aquarium was built close to Parque Alcalde as a tourism draw for the area, at an investment approaching 300 million pesos, or over 14 million US dollars. Construction started in 2015 and it opened in March 2017. A rival plan for an aquarium in Puerto Vallarta was dropped over doubts about visitor numbers.
