Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park and its collection
Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park is a zoo in Mesra, Kanpur division.
The park was set up in 1994 next to the Getalsud Dam, on the road between Ranchi and Hazaribag. It is divided into an animal section of 83 hectares and a botanical section of 21 hectares.
What the venue says
- paddle boats
- A visitor canteen and refreshment kiosks are located near the main entrance and alongside the lake.
- Dedicated vehicle parking is available near the entrance for a nominal fee (around ₹50 for cars/four-wheelers and ₹25 for two-wheelers).
- Wheelchairs are made available for physically handicapped visitors, and the park features accessible paths and rest shelters throughout the terrain.
