Beale Wildlife Park and its collection
Beale Wildlife Park, opened in 1956, is a zoo in Reading, United Kingdom.
The site has three strands: gardens and woodland, children's play areas, and collections of birds, farm stock and small exotics.
Exhibits
Recent additions include a play area, paddling pools, sand pits, a pets area and a Little Tikes play area. A narrow gauge railway a mile long runs through the grounds, worked by a diesel locomotive named Sir Humphrey Davy and formerly by a steam engine, John Remmy, each able to haul five carriages and 50 passengers.
