Zoo Idaho and its collection

Zoo Idaho, opened in 1932, is a zoo in Pocatello, United States.

Upwards of 100 animals are held across roughly 40 species, on 25 acres of unaltered ground inside Ross Park. It is one of only two American zoos specialising in wildlife of the Intermountain West. Uniquely among zoos, Shoshone-Bannock culture is built into its design and programming.

Animals on show include Bison, cougar, eagles, pronghorn and grizzly bear.

Its exhibits include Grizzly Bear Exhibit, Birds of Prey, Wild Dogs, Deer, Elk, & Pronghorn and Barnyard Fowl.

Things to do

Things to do include Discovery Stations, Keeper Chats, Live Feeding Presentations, Storytime and Backpack Scavenger Hunt.
