Surabaya Zoo and its collection

Surabaya Zoo, opened in 1916, is a zoo in Surabaya, Indonesia.

The zoo was once ranked the most complete animal collection in South-East Asia. It holds more than 230 species and over 2,179 individual animals, including rare national and foreign species among the mammals, birds, reptiles and fish.

Animals on show include Orang Utan, Beruk, Bekantan and Anoa.
