Rostov Zoo and its collection
Rostov Zoo, opened in 1927, is a zoo in Ростов-на-Дону, Russia.
The zoo takes part in 38 conservation programmes for rare species and belongs to the ISIS animal records network. Its extensive parkland is widely used locally for recreation, and the plantings carry protected status as a natural monument.
What the venue says

- There are multiple kiosks, snack bars, and seasonal outdoor cafes scattered throughout the park grounds offering ice cream, fast food, beverages, and light snacks
- Parking spaces are available near the main entrance areas off Zoologicheskaya Street.
- Paved paths wind through the park, though some of the older historic sections may have uneven terrain.
