Pionirska dolina is a zoo in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
History
The recreation and entertainment centre is the country's oldest zoo. It stood in Ilidža under Austro-Hungarian rule before moving to the Centar municipality.
What the venue says
- There are small cafes and ice cream/snack stalls located inside the park grounds to grab refreshments, light bites, and drinks
- Street-side and designated visitor parking options are available near the main entrance on Patriotske Lige street, though spaces can fill up quickly during weekends and peak summer days.
- paved pathways suitable for walking and strollers, and includes family-friendly infrastructure such as a baby-changing room for parents with toddlers
