El Jardí dels Ocells and its collection
El Jardí dels Ocells is a zoo in Alt Penedès, Spain.
Lying roughly 60 km from both Barcelona and Tarragona, about midway between the two, it is run as a small family business by British owners, with the aim of teaching about birds and the natural world. The name uses the Catalan word ocells, which is closer to the French oiseaux than to the Spanish pajaros.
