DeYoung Family Zoo — Zoo in Menominee County

DeYoung Family Zoo and its collection

DeYoung Family Zoo, opened in 1990, is a zoo in Wallace, United States.

The site lies roughly 15 miles north of Menominee, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and keeps many exotic cats, with young animals that visitors may pet and bottle-feed. Animal care there has been queried in recent years.

Animals and collection

DeYoung and Cramer rehabilitate local wildlife such as white-tailed deer and raccoons, and Siberian tigers bred there in 2008 produced a litter of four. A chimpanzee, Tommy, arrived as a donation in 2015, though the zoo denied holding him.
