Asson Zoo and its collection
Asson Zoo, opened in 1964, is a zoo in Asson, France.
Created in 1964, the park holds about 500 animals of roughly 100 species on five hectares.

Animals on show include panthère des neiges, tigre blanc, lémuriens, kangourous and chauves-souris géantes.
Exhibits
Its exhibits include le monde de Radjah, Nosy Be, Jurassic Zoo, parcours des kangourous and terre d’Afrique.
Things to do
Things to do include nature challenges, keeper for a day, night visits and public feedings.
Conservation and approach
A dedicated zoological association was formed in 1994 as the conservation arm, with no paid staff and working entirely on volunteers. The park absorbs the association's running costs, so donations pass whole to field projects.
