Assiniboine Park Zoo, opened in 1904, is a zoo in Winnipeg, Canada.

Founded in 1904, the zoo is run by the Assiniboine Park Conservancy. It occupies 80 acres with over 160 species, and is accredited by both CAZA and AZA.

Exhibits

The Pavilion of Lions opened in June 2010, its first occupants two African lions, and the Asian section holds red panda, Steller's sea eagle, Sichuan takin, Turkmenian markhor and Amur tiger. Journey to Churchill recreates habitats of northern Manitoba and is billed as the most complete display of northern species anywhere, while the Kinsmen Discovery Center holds six themed galleries and is the second-largest indoor exhibit. Open Range, at the centre of the zoo, shows wallaroo, guanaco, llama, pronghorn, red kangaroo, tur, demoiselle crane and emu, and Aunt Sally's Farm is a children's play area beside a playground, with a wishing well.
