Aquarium of Veracruz is an aquarium in Veracruz, Mexico.
History
Talks with the state government about building a display of regional marine fauna began late in the 1980s, with support for the tourism sector among the aims. The Hornos beach site was picked for its closeness to tourists, its shelter from northerly winds and its supply of seawater.
